Hospital del Sureste is situated in Arganda. With a floor area of 56,811 m², it provides health services for over 150,000 inhabitants of 21 different cities and towns within a radius of 17 to 20 kilometres.

The hospital was built not only to cover present needs, but also to tend to future needs. Its modular structure will make it possible for the hospital to be enlarged later as the population grows. Hospital del Sureste is a flexible, modular building with an inbuilt capacity to change to meet future needs. It has got inner courtyards that provide natural light to inner rooms, and its system of traffic paths is tailored to its needs. The technical area is separated from the rest of the hospital's services and occupies a building of its own.

The hospital has got a total of 125 beds, five operating rooms, 42 consultation rooms, 32 examination rooms, eight outpatient care stations and four delivery rooms.

All rooms are private and are equipped so that both patients and their relatives can be made as comfortable as possible for the duration of their hospital stay. The hospital has a direct connection to the public transport system.
