FCC Construcción signs the Bali declaration against the climate change

It has been signed by 140 companies throughout the world, 15 of them Spanish, including FCC Construcción and Pórtland Valderrivas.The Bali Declaration has arisen from the Cambridge University Industry Programme and the United Kingdom's Prince of Wales Group of business leaders regarding the climate change in relation to the forthcoming United Nations conference on the climate change taking place in Bali, Indonesia.

FCC sponsors lunch/conference with the President of Romania

The President of Romania, Traian Basescu, on an official visit to Spain, took part on a lunch and conference organised by the New Economy Forum and sponsored by FCC and The Wall Street Journal Europe on 27 November.

Full speed ahead for the Siete Aguas Buñol tunnel. New tunnel boring world record: 80 m in one day

The tunnel boring machine building the La Cabrera tunnel in the Siete Aguas- Buñol section in Valencia completed 80 metres of progress on 25 November, 50 ring each of 1.6 metres - a world record. The project consists of two parallel the single-track tunnels 7,157 metres long.

FCC Construccion awarded section VI of the supply from the Cenajo reservoir to the MC Taibilla Murcia

Aguas de la Cuenca del  Segura has awarded FCC Construcción a  section of the trunk branch between the Altiplano junction and the connection  with the Campotejar waste water treatment plan for €42.3 million.

World record in the La Cabrera tunnel. Siete Aguas-Buñol section

Being built by FCC and Sando in a temporary joint venture for ADIF, saw the installation of 45 1,6 m rings in one day, a world record.
