FCC Construcción

Benicarló and Vinaroz link road of the N-340 road in Castellón, for 49.7 million euros.

The Ministry for Public Works (Fomento) has awarded FCC Construcción with the project for the Benicarló - Vinaroz link road of the N- 340 in Castellón, for a total of 49.7 million euros and the work is expected to take 38 months.

This new link road on the N-340, which is 18.2 km long, has been designed with a single 7 metre carriageway, with 2.5m-wide offside and nearside hard shoulders, and involves the construction of 5 junctions, 15 viaducts, 7 overpasses and 7 underpasses. Some of the most unique viaducts are the one over the River Seco at the 4.9 kilometre point (P.K 4.9), and the one over the River Cervol, at the 12.18 kilometre point (P.K 12.18), which has 6 spans.
