ALPINE wins a contract to build a bus station in Hungary

The station will be turned into one of Hungary’s most modern stations

FCC’s Austrian subsidiary, ALPINE, has recently secured the contract to build the central bus station in Hatvan, Hungary. The contract was signed during a cere-mony that boasted the presence of Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai, Mayor Zsolt Érsek, the general manager of the Hatvan bus company, Csaba Uti, and the manager of ALPINE’s division for Hungary, András Heli.

The new bus station will become one of the most modern such facilities in Hungary. It will have two levels, and the bus arrival and departure areas will be roofed. The station is designed in reinforced concrete, will accommodate a total of 18 buses at one time, and will be surrounded by a green area spreading over approximately 5,500 square metres.
