FCC Construcción

FCC's Austrian subsidiary ALPINE is to build an urban railway tunnel worth 310 million euro in the German city of Karlsruhe. Notice of the contract award was given today by Karlsruher Schieneninfrastruktur-Gesellschaft (KASIG), a firm owned by the city of Karlsruhe.

FCC Construcción engineer Jesús Gómez Hermoso spoke at the A Coruña University School of Civil Engineering on the construction of Terminal T4 at Madrid-Barajas Airport.

On 11 February 2010, Valencian President Francisco Camps, accompanied by the president of the Castellón Council and president of Aerocas, Carlos Fabra, visited the facilities at Castellón Airport, which was built by FCC.

Throughout this week, several professionals from FCC Construcción have been teaching a 30-hour class.

The Canary Island government has selected the consortium made up of FCC Construcción, Aqualia Infraestructuras and local firm Traysesa to draft the design for and build a seawater desalination plant west of Tenerife, inside the municipal limits of Guía de Isora.
