The building activity is carried out mainly by the mother company FCC Construcción through 29 branches in nine areas and four general sub-directorates.

In a decentralised organisation, the branches allow suitable control over projects and an efficient closeness to the client. The configuration follows specialisation (civil engineering, building, rail transport) or geographical criteria.
The international activity is based on a stable presence in certain countries through participation in well-placed local building companies with prestigious and solvent partners who allow the local market to be attended to and occasional actions in large projects as concessions.
